Actor profile
Career and selected work
Harry Lloyd is an English actor whose work includes literary adaptations, science fiction and voice performance. His early television roles as Will Scarlet in Robin Hood and Jeremy Baines in Doctor Who offer useful contrasts with Viserys Targaryen in Game of Thrones. The Theory of Everything is a film route into his work, while Counterpart gives more time to follow a continuing character.
Lloyd voices Viktor in Arcane, an example of a performance identified through sound rather than a familiar face. That makes it an interesting comparison for a viewer thinking about the doubled casting in Marble Hall Murders. Listen for phrasing and emphasis as well as looking at costume and posture. The different productions below should each be approached on their own terms: several are adaptations, but they make different demands on the audience. A cast connection can suggest what to explore next without implying a shared story, genre or creative team.
Six roles to explore

- Game of Thrones (2011) — Viserys Targaryen.
- The Theory of Everything (2014) — Brian.

In the Susan Ryeland adaptations
Lloyd plays Roland Crace in Susan’s contemporary investigation and Robert Waysmith in Pünd’s Last Case. Roland is part of the Crace family story; Robert belongs to the manuscript world. The same face gives the audience a visible connection to consider as Susan reads. It is worth recording each name separately, especially in scenes with several members of the family or household. Rather than treating one character as a direct explanation of the other, compare what each wants from the people around him and how the novel rearranges those relationships.
